Morgan County Correctional Complex

Incorporating the latest security technology to make operations more efficient, the Morgan County Correctional Facility serves as a design prototype for future State of Tennessee correctional facilities. The 500,000 square foot complex adds 19 new buildings to the original three, and includes a central command center, administration building, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and minimum, medium and maximum security housing units for approximately 2,400 inmates. To date, it is the largest construction project the State of Tennessee has undertaken. The project adds further expertise to Bell’s knowledge of correctional facility construction.
