Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame is a one-of-a-kind interactive museum located in downtown Knoxville, TN, home of the repeat National Champion, Lady Vols. The museum is a feature element of the downtown and waterfront redevelopment plan. The 28,000 square foot structure consists of a two-story steel frame with circular rotundas at each end. The building is composed of brick masonry veneer exterior, aluminum curtainwall and storefront, standing seam metal roofing and terrazzo floors. State-of-the-art interactive exhibitory components and a simulated basketball court are highlights of the museum. Other amenities include an area for housing sports memorabilia, fiber optic exterior accent lighting, a 16’ tall, 3,200 pound bronze sculpture, a 27’ diameter rooftop basketball.
