840 Bypass

Bell & Associates is currently working in Williamson County on the 840 Bypass, just south of Nashville. This project, which is estimated to be complete in December 2011, consists of grading, drainage, and construction of bridges and retaining walls. The updated section is 7.9 miles and will reach from the west of Leipers Creek Road to west of Columbia Pike, State Route 6. When the project is complete, State Route 840 will connect to Interstate 40 near Lebanon (east of downtown Nashville) and near Dickson (west of downtown Nashville). The entire route will be scheduled to open for all traffic by 2012.
