SR PROJECT MANAGER – CORRECTIONAL FACILITY CONSTRUCTION
A Leading Nashville Based General Contractor is looking for a high level Project Manager with Correctional Project Experience. This individual must have managed multiple projects concurrently or single projects in excess of 30 million in correctional construction. Must also be familiar with all project delivery methodologies.
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Consistently strive to implement and maintain strong operational, cost control and production policies through innovative leadership by maximizing human, material, and equipment resources. Mentor/Coach project managers and project engineers. Focused relationship builder with clients, A/E’s, subcontractor, and vendors is required. Buyout job from the estimators, write subcontracts and purchase orders, create monthly job status reports and create detailed schedule and maintain it throughout project.
Education and Experience requirements include: A 4 year engineering degree or equivalent, plus at least 8 years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management preferred.. Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Experience in performing all facets of construction administration, project budgeting, AR/AP monitoring, and project controls. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
